Fruit Pops for Summer

By Mikaela Weyland-Smith —

Hot summer days call for cool summer treats. What better way to cool down on those 100-degree days than with a delicious fruit pop? Check out these awesome recipes to keep you cool this summer.

Fruit Salad Ice Pops — Martha Stewart

Made with real pieces of fruit, these are the perfect fruity snack. Try this original recipe, or swap the fruit out for berries and make berry pops!

Frozen Fruit Pops — Taste of Home

This delicious recipe makes raspberry yoghurt and banana pops. Try these for a creamy, frozen, summer dessert.

Lemonade Cucumber Spa Popsicles – Family Fresh Cooking

Perfect for a luxurious day of pampering at home, these popsicles taste delicious. Invite your girlfriends over for a day of facials and popsicles!

Try changing it up by making mini fruit pops. Rather than making them with popsicle moulds, try using small plastic cups. Fill the cups about halfway with the fruit pop mixture and place a pop stick in the centre. Place them in the freezer for 15-30 minutes and remove from the cups when you are ready to eat.

Another cute idea is making extra tiny frozen fruit cubes. Fill an ice cube tray with the mixture and use small pop sticks (or cut the sticks in half) or strong toothpicks (depending on the size of your ice cube) to hold them with.

This season, make a batch of fruit pops and invite some friends over for a little sun and icy treats.
